Electrical Maintenance EngineerLocation:West YorkshireSalary: £45,200 plus £2,300 shift allowanceTXM Recruit is working in partnership with one of the UKs most recognisable retailers to recruit experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineers for their distribution centre in South Elmsall. This is a great opportunity to work in a highly automated environment, supporting modern, state-of-the-art equipment critical to site operations.Shift Pattern:Rotating Days &Nights06:0018:00 and 18:0006:003 on 3 offThe Role Youll be responsible for maintaining and improving site performance by carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of automated warehouse systems.Key duties include:Fault finding and diagnostics on PLC-controlled equipmentPlanned preventative maintenance on conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics and robotic systemsResponding to breakdowns and completing repairs within agreed timeframes to reduce downtimeCarrying out servicing and repairs, taking ownership of issues through to resolutionApplying strong mechanical and electrical knowledge to day-to-day tasksWorking accurately from setup instructions, assembly guides and checklistsCommunicating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across the siteWhat Were Looking ForCompleted engineering apprenticeship with ONC or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical EngineeringPrevious experience in a maintenance engineering role, ideally within warehousing, FMCG or a similar environmentWorking knowledge of PLC systems and automation equipmentComfortable using Microsoft Office and CMMS systemsExperience managing engineering spares and inventoryWilling and able to work at heights of up to 20 metres (training provided)JBRP1_UKTJ
