By joining our team, you'll help shape the future workforce and make a lasting impact on the lives of learners.Job Title: Hospitality Technician(18.5 Hours per week - 40 weeks of the year)As a Hospitality Technician, you'll be supporting the curriculum delivery in Hospitality across Kitchens and Restaurant. You will ensure that everything is up to a safe operational state and prepare all class related materials efficiently and effectively. You will also be keeping track of stock and maintaining them to make sure that all relevant courses run smoothly.In this role, you will:Supporting teachers and students with the curriculumPreparing all relevant materialsMaintaining all Kitchens equipment and reporting anything to the technician supervisor where neededAdhering to Health and Safety RegulationsKeeping stock at a reasonable level and reordering from suppliers where neededMaintaining and cleaning kitchensEssential Qualifications:Education to level 2 or above and/or a professional qualification in relevant subject area or equivalentMinimum of Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics GCSE 4+ or C and above / CSE Level 1 / O-Level C or above / Level 2 Adult Numeracy or Literacy or equivalentDesirable Qualifications:Education to level 3 or above and/or a professional qualification in relevant subject area or equivalentEssential Experience:Practical industrial experience within a commercial kitchen/catering trade.Experience with working effectively as part of a team.Awareness of Health & Safety at Work and related issues.Good experience in using ILT skillsAll applications will be assessed against the stated essential requirements, so please ensure your CV clearly demonstrates how you meet them.We do not engage with recruitment or search agencies unless they have been officially contracted in line with our PSL.JBRP1_UKTJ
