About the RoleTeam Educate is currently recruiting dedicated and experienced tutors to provideface-to-face tuitionin Exmouth. You will be supporting pupils on a one-to-one or small-group basis, helping them to build confidence, close learning gaps, and achieve their academic potential.Tuition may take place in schools, alternative provisions, community settings, or pupilshomes, depending on the assignment.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality, engaging face-to-face tuitionPlan and adapt sessions to meet individual learning needsSupport pupils academically and emotionally where requiredProvide feedback and progress updates to Team EducateMaintain professional boundaries and follow safeguarding procedures at all timesRole-For 12 hours over the 2 week timetable. 5 hours one week. 7 hours the next.Week A:Monday: 11:30-1:30Tuesday: 11:30-1:30Thursday: 11:30-1:30Friday: 11:30-12:30Week B:Monday: 11:30-1:30Tuesday 3:05-4:05Thursday: 11:30-1:30RequirementsTo work with Team Educate, candidates must meet the following safer recruitment requirements:Relevant teaching or tutoring experienceA recognised teaching qualification or strong subject-specialist background (preferred)Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)Two professional references (at least one relating to work with children or young people)Right to work in the UKStrong understanding of safeguarding and child protectionAbility to travel locally for face-to-face sessionsSafer RecruitmentTeam Educate is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
