We have an exciting opportunity for a Pipework Fitter based in Bedfordshire for one of our clients on a Full Time Permanent basis.Summary of the Pipework Fitter roleSalary: £32,000 - £34,000Location: BedfordshireType of Contract: PermanentHours: Monday Friday 8am-5pm + travelResponsibilities of the Pipework FitterInstall compressed air pipework systems at customer locationsAssist with installation, positioning and basic mechanical assembly or air compressors and associated compressed air equipmentWork under direction of an Installation Engineer to ensure installations comply with required standards and guidelinesCarry out tasks involving working at height, using appropriate access equipment in line with rulesSupport with loading/unloading pipework and other heavy equipmentAdhere to strict health and safety proceduresComplete job recordsCommunicate clearly progress and issuesTravel to customer sites as required, including overnight stays when necessaryRequirements for a successful Pipework FitterConfident in use of standard hand toolsComfortable working at height and using equipment as well as comfortable working in industrial and manufacturing environmentsStrong awareness of health and safety in an engineering environmentPhysically capable of carrying out manual handling tasksFull UK driving licenceWhat our Client offersLife coverEmployee care schemeAbout Allstaff RecruitmentWere an independent recruitment specialist based in Bedfordshire, supporting businesses across Bedford, Milton Keynes, and surrounding areas.
