We are looking for a part-time, Scheme Manager who has a passion for delivering great services to our residents in Mayfield and Heathfield.Responsibilities include:Dealing with day to day enquires relating to the schemeMonitoring the welfareof residents and contacting necessary agencies where appropriateEnsuring the general Health and Safety within the scheme and to carry out and document all Health and Safety checksMonitor the expenditure of the scheme budget, keeping within budgetary limitationsReceiving and processing any repair works and monitoring theirprogressLiaising with outside agencies and suppliersManaging any potential complaints (e.g. anti social behaviorcases)Monitoring cleaning, gardening and other contractors' performance when on site, ensuring that works are completed to a satisfactory standardResponsible for management of void properties, ensuringthat re-let targets are metCandidate RequirementsCertificate in Supported Housing, Charted Institute of Housingor equivalent(preferred but not essential)Knowledge of Housing Benefit/Supporting People requirements and criteriaA wide knowledge of health and social issues that may affect our residentsAt least two years Housing experience in a similar or related field (essential)Ability to deal with challenging and emergency situations in a calm mannerExcellentcustomer service and communication skillsGCSE level C (or equivalent qualification) in Maths and English (essential)The ability to drive with access to your own vehicle is essential due to the organisation being multi-site across Sussex within some rural areasEmployment DetailsEmployment Type:PermanentHours:25 hours per weekPay:£19,126.14 AnnuallyAdditional InformationHours of work are Monday to Friday (25 hours per week, 5 hours per day to approx. 8am 1pm)LocationsSt. Thomas of Canterbury Court, Mayfield, East Sussex, TN20 6BQ (20 hours per week)Waldron Court, Heathfield, East Sussex, TN21 8NZBenefits25 days' annual leave (excluding bank Holidays, pro rated for part-time staff)Contributory pensions scheme, with employer contributionsDedicated Employee Assistance Program (providing confidential support and advice)Refer a Friend bonusFree onsite parking available at both schemesJBRP1_UKTJ
