OnePlace Solutions are currently looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our client based in Dordon.The client are a long standing automotive parts supplier who are looking for experienced drivers to join their team.We have roles available for PART TIME Fridays / Sundays only!The driver must have a minimum of 6 months experience in a class 1 role.This role is 3-5 drops per shift, and includes opening up small sites and controlling the alarms before dropping the goods in. So it is not just a driving role.Load and unload goods efficiently, ensuring securement according to safety standards.Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any faults or issues promptly.Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in compliance with legal requirements.Plan routes effectively to optimise delivery times while adhering to legal driving hours.Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, delays, or issues encountered on the road.Ensure compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies at all times.Assist with general vehicle maintenance tasks as required to ensure optimal operation.Process CandidateAgency recruit suitable trained driversWont take Drug or drink driving in previous 11 yearsWont take over 3 pointsExperience at east 6 months but ideally 12months +Good knowledge of working time and EU regulationsIdeal experienced multi drop and load securityGood knowledge of vehicle checksAble to operate independently and safely in varying road conditionsProcess Requirementshold correct licence and is validUp to date CPC and DQC cardHas physical copies of them.Right to work documents or share codeNo excluding health conditions from driving understand any reportable conditions or medicationsTesting At Sitetheory testdrug testDrive testLicence inspectionsAssessment of candidate while undergoing theseStart1 days induction1 night transport training3 days buddy trainingThe Training Pay rate is £15 per hour.The hours are nights, starting between 10pm-2am and working 10 hours per shift.The pay rate is £21 for per hour.If you are interested please apply now!JBRP1_UKTJ
