Trained apprentices or formal qualified mechanical or electrical Graduate Engineers will also be considered.Role:Diagnose and repair electrical / mechanical faults that occur on the equipment and plantEnsure the equipment and plant is in good safe working orderMaintain high standard of record keeping for repairs and servicing (use of internal computer system CORIM)Communicate, work and handover the progress on assigned tasks with members of the Maintenance TeamCommunicate with and work with leaders of the other departmentsCommunicate and work with outsourced contractors to ensure equipment and machinery are safe and in good condition to useEnsures repairs are performed in a right first time mind set and followed until full completion and validationFollow 5S aspects around the workplace: maintenance workshop, machines and plantExperience & Requirements:Qualified with BS7671 18th Edition City and Guild 2382Strong technical knowledge and expertise (Experience in Injection Moulding Maintenance is desired but not essential)Multi skilled in Electrics, Hydraulics and MechanicsStrong troubleshooting skills in Electrics, Hydraulics and MechanicsConfident with reading and interpreting technical drawings (electrical,hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical)Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skillsStrong team workingAbility to multitask and work under pressureKey Words: Maintenance Engineer.
