ROLE:Commercial Gas EngineerSALARY:Up to £50,000 DOELOCATION:Mostly covering the North including Sheffield, Manchester, Leeds, York, Hull, and occasionally the West Midlands (all paid door-to-door)THE COMPANY:We are seeking a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join our clients growing team. This field-based role involves Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), servicing, repairs, and occasional installations of commercial gas systems across a varied portfolio including hotels, government buildings, schools, court facilities, and office sites.While your primary focus will be the North of England, national travel may occasionally be required to provide sickness or holiday cover. Youll be part of a professional and supportive engineering team with an on-call rota of 1 in 9 (nationwide).BENEFITS:Door-to-Door PayOvertime opportunitiesCompany van, tools, and equipment provided23 days annual leave + 8 bank holidaysAuto-enrolment pension (3% employer / 5% employee)Private medical insurance (after 6-month probation)Comprehensive health 'safety supportExcellent training and development opportunitiesClear path for career progression in a growing companyTHE CANDIDATE:Valid ACS Commercial Gas Certifications (e.g. CODNCO1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, TPCP1A, BMP1)At least 5 years experience working with commercial gas appliances and systemsStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skills BMS/controls knowledge is beneficialFull, valid UK driving licenceHigh level of health 'safety awarenessProfessional communication skills both verbal and writtenAble to work independently and as part of a teamOrganised, efficient, and capable of managing workload across multiple sitesDUTIES INCLUDE:Conducting PPM, servicing, and repairs on commercial gas appliances in line with SFG20 standardsDiagnosing faults and performing effective repairs on systems including boilers, burners, pumps, controls, AHUs, and pipeworkPerforming occasional installations to meet compliance and safety regulationsResponding to emergency repairs both during working hours and as part of the on-call rota (1 in 9)Maintaining detailed and compliant service documentation for audit purposesEnsuring safe working practices are followed, with appropriate PPE and site safety protocolsCollaborating with the wider team and escalating technical issues where requiredAdvising clients on safe appliance use and best practicesImmediate interviews are being arranged.If you're an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer and are looking for a rewarding, mobile role, please apply today or contact Emma on 0121 212 0234 to apply.JBRP1_UKTJ
