Your work will directly support our commitment to maintaining safe homes and meeting all statutory fire safety requirements.Youll work both independently and alongside colleagues, delivering high-quality fire door installations, fire stopping, and general FRA maintenance. Every task you complete helps protect our customers and ensures our homes meet the highest safety standards.What youll be doingInstalling and maintaining fire doors to FIRAS and BM Trada standardsCompleting fire stopping works to a high, compliant standardCarrying out general FRA maintenance, including carpentry, joinery and reactive repairsCertifying all work accurately and in line with required standardsWorking professionally with tenants, colleagues and contractorsEnsuring all work meets approved codes of practice, regulations and safety requirementsAt times youll be working in small or confined spaces, so youll need to feel comfortable and confident carrying out tasks safely in those settings.What were looking forMust havesCity & Guilds Part 1 and Part 2, NVQ Level 2, or equivalent experience in carpentry and joineryExperience in housing repairs, maintenance and working in occupied homesStrong understanding of passive fire risk works and general maintenance (carpentry, joinery, plastering, basic plumbing, tiling)Excellent problem-solving skills and time managementCommitment to delivering high-quality customer serviceFull (preferably clean) UK driving licence (maximum of 6 points)FIRAS or BM Trada certification in Fire Door Installation, Maintenance or Fire StoppingBenefitsAt SettleParadigm, we believe in creating an environment where our people feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.
