DescriptionWere looking for an experienced, detail-driven Quantity Surveyor to join our team and play a key role in the commercial success of our projects. If youre confident working with stakeholders at all levels, thrive in fast-paced environments, and have a strong grasp of NEC contracts and construction processes, wed love to hear from you.What you will be doing:Managing stakeholder relationships, ensuring all internal and external parties are aligned and informedProviding clear commercial support to project and site teams, including monthly reporting, IVs, budgets and KPIsMaintaining and managing change control, updating registers and ensuring variations follow contract requirementsOverseeing procurement, preparing subcontract orders and managing payments/administrationProducing and assessing subcontract applications, issuing payment certificates and managing meeting minutesDriving contractual compliance, monitoring risks, financial impacts, variances and early warningsForecasting potential issues and advising the project team on mitigation strategiesSupporting and mentoring assistant quantity surveyors, promoting strong teamwork and resource allocationWorking collaboratively to integrate commercial activities and champion continuous improvement What you will bring:Experience managing high-value, multi-disciplinary construction packagesStrong understanding of NEC3 contractsExcellent stakeholder communication skillsProven ability to meet deadlines with exceptional attention to detailExperience writing contract communications, CVRs and cost reportsClear understanding of the construction processProficiency across key IT systems and reporting tools5+ years experience as an AQS or QSDegree in Quantity Surveying or a related disciplineProfessional membership (e.g. RICS) desirable but not essential Benefits:26 days holiday plus bank holidaysPrivate HealthcareCar AllowanceCompany PensionVolunteering Days - With Careys Foundation - or other organisations that are important to youHealth Care CashplanCycle to work schemeCar Leasing SchemeDiscounted Gym MembershipLife AssuranceBuy/sell holidaysOther discounts and Cashback plansJBRP1_UKTJ
