The role sits at the intersection of risk, data, technology and product, and will play a critical part in shaping the next phase of growth.The RoleYou will take full responsibility for defining and leading the credit risk strategy across the customer lifecycle, ensuring robust decisioning, strong portfolio performance and regulatory compliance, while enabling commercial growth.Key responsibilities include:Owning and evolving the end-to-end credit risk strategyLeading credit decisioning across acquisition, account management and collectionsOversight of credit risk platforms, tools and data integrationsDeveloping, implementing and governing credit policies and modelsMonitoring portfolio performance, credit quality and risk metricsEnsuring strong governance and compliance with UK regulatory requirementsWorking closely with Product, Technology, Operations and Customer Experience teamsManaging third-party vendors and technology partnersBuilding, developing and leading a high-performing credit risk functionAbout YouYou will be an experienced credit risk leader with a strong track record in consumer finance or financial services, comfortable operating at scale in fast-moving environments.Key requirements:Proven senior-level experience in credit risk leadershipDeep understanding of underwriting, affordability and credit decisioningHands-on experience with credit risk platforms and decisioning systemsStrong knowledge of UK consumer credit regulationHighly analytical with the ability to translate data into clear decisionsConfident cross-functional operator with strong stakeholder management skillsExperienced people leader who can build and motivate teamsWhy Join?This is a rare opportunity to join a business at a pivotal point in its growth journey, with genuine influence over strategy, technology and outcomes.
