Cheshire | Salary up to £60,000 (negotiable) + Car Allowance + BonusPermanent | Regional RoleA well-established UK property services contractor is seeking an experienced Lead Quantity Surveyor to take commercial ownership of a multi-contract, high-value planned maintenance and refurbishment portfolio across Cheshire and the surrounding region.This is a senior, hands-on leadership role delivering social housing refurbishment, passive fire protection and retrofit / decarbonisation programmes within a stable, long-term framework environment.Youll lead and develop a growing commercial team while retaining full control of commercial performance across multiple live contracts.The RoleAs Lead Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for both people leadership and commercial delivery, with autonomy to manage your region day-to-day.Key responsibilities include:Leading, mentoring and developing Quantity Surveyors, Trainees and GraduatesFull commercial responsibility across multiple planned maintenance and refurbishment contractsManaging CVRs, WIP, forecasting, cost control and riskOverseeing tendering, subcontract procurement and paymentsWorking closely with operational teams and clients to ensure contract performanceDriving strong commercial governance and KPI deliveryYoull be trusted to run your own diary, make decisions, and shape how the team operates, with senior support available but without day-to-day micromanagement.What Were Looking ForBSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management5+ years experience in a Quantity Surveying roleBackground in social housing, planned maintenance, refurbishment or retrofitExperience managing multiple contracts / high-volume workstreamsConfident team leader with a genuine interest in developing peopleStrong commercial, analytical and negotiation skillsComfortable working autonomously in a regional roleWhats in It for YouSalary up to £60,000 (negotiable depending on experience)Car allowance + bonusClear, structured career progressionEnhanced holiday and family leaveSupportive regional leadership and a collaborative team cultureLong-term, secure workload across housing and energy efficiencyThis role suits someone who wants real ownership, influence and progression, not just a title.Apply now for a confidential discussion about this opportunity.JBRP1_UKTJ
