Senior Quantity SurveyorWe have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established main contractor based in Reading. The business is a very reputable regional main contractor who undertake projects across several sectors which include education, commercial, light industrial and healthcare typically valuing up to £20mil. Projects are typically administered via JCT forms of contract.About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor:As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be required to manage projects from pre-construction through to final account, with the support of an Assistant Quantity Surveyor. You will be responsible for the project from Estimator handover to completion.Key Responsibilities as Senior Quantity Surveyor:Work alongside pre-construction team on any 2-stage tendersOversee the teams procurement / management of sub-contractor packagesDeal with final accounts / any dispute resolution that may ariseLiaise with the clients teamsMentor junior members of the Surveying team and be involved in their professional developmentKey Requirements for this Senior Quantity Surveyor position:Hold a BSc Quantity Surveying or HNCHave experience managing projects from pre-construction through to final accountBe proficient in administering various forms of contract including JCT and NECMust live in a commutable location to Reading and be happy to visit office and site as requiredWhats on offer for this Senior Quantity Surveyor position:Salary: Up to £80kCompany Car / Car AllowanceOpportunity for progression within a growing businessDiverse project pipelineThis is an exciting time to join a long-established business with ambitious growth plans and a secure forward order book.
