Commercial Gas Engineer / Chiller and Boiler Specialist EngineerWe are currently working on behalf of a highly respected specialist hire company who are looking to expand their engineering team with the addition of an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer / Chiller and Boiler Specialist Engineer.Our client operates nationwide, supporting commercial, industrial, private, and public sector clients with temporary heating, cooling, and hot water solutions. With ambitious growth plans and a commitment to innovation, they are now seeking a driven and knowledgeable individual to support the ongoing development of their operations.The Role:The successful candidate will join a supportive and experienced team, working across a variety of sites installing, maintaining, and servicing commercial temporary boiler systems and air-cooled chillers. You will also be involved in modifying existing pipework in older plant rooms.Key Duties Include:Installation, servicing, and maintenance of commercial temporary boilers and chillersDiagnosing and resolving faults on chilled water systems, AHUs, and forced draft burnersModifying existing plant room pipeworkRegular travel to client sites - a company vehicle will be providedSupporting less experienced engineers and contributing to ongoing trainingEnsuring all works are completed in line with safety and compliance standardsKey Requirements:Strong background in commercial mechanical systems, including:LTHW systemsChilled water systemsNatural gas and oil-fired boiler systemsControl wiring and electrical servicesExperience with air-cooled chillers and AHUsRelevant qualifications, including:Commercial Gas Safe certificationF-Gas refrigeration certificationFull UK driving licenceBased locally to either the Kent or Redditch depotFlexibility to support call-out rota and emergency work as requiredWillingness to undergo a DBS check (some client sites require clearance)Career Development & Training:Our client is committed to continuous development and offers a wide range of training options including F-Gas, OFTEC, SSSTS, SMSTS and more.
