We're looking for a driven, hands-on Operations Team Lead to join Pilgrim's Europe at our Anwick site. Reporting to the Production Manager, you'll be responsible for leading people and performance on shift, ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the highest quality and customer standards.This is a key factory-floor leadership role where you'll make a real difference through strong people management, continuous improvement and living Pilgrim's Europe values every day.?? Operations / Manufacturing ¦ Pilgrim's EuropeWorking Hours: 2-2-3 6am to 6pmThe RoleAs an Operations Team Lead, you will:Lead, motivate and develop Line Controllers and Operatives within your departmentEnsure Health & Safety, Quality, Hygiene and GMP standards are consistently metTake ownership of line performance, yields, labour control and efficiencyDrive continuous improvement across people, processes and systemsManage effective shift handovers, including paperwork and machinery changeoversMonitor and control product quality, labelling and traceabilitySupport delivery of the daily production plan, escalating risks and variances promptlyManage resources to minimise downtime and maximise outputLiaise with Planning, Technical, Engineering and other departments to deliver site targetsSupport training, development and performance management of team membersDeal with first-line disciplinary and performance issuesProvide cover for the Production Manager when requiredFlexibility is essential, including overtime and weekend working to meet business demands.What We're Looking ForYou'll bring:Leadership or supervisory experience within a manufacturing or food production environmentStrong organisational, problem-solving and decision-making skillsGood communication skills and a confident, hands-on leadership styleGood PC skills and strong attention to detailThe ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentAwareness of food manufacturing standards and customer service requirementsA flexible, proactive approach and the ability to use your own initiativeDesirable:NVQ Level 4 / ILM qualificationBasic Food Hygiene CertificateWhy Join Us?Joining Pilgrim's Europe means being part of a values-led business where people, safety and performance come first.
