Job Role: Maintenance EngineerLocation: Ely, CambridgeshireSalary: £45,000-£47,000 + Overtime Available @ 1.5x (x2 Sundays)Hours: Monday-Friday Double Days (weekly rotations) 06.00-14.00, 14.00-22.00Job Type: Full time, PermanentThe client:Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established, nationwide packaging organisation that, due to expansion & rapid growth are welcoming another maintenance engineer at their site based in Cambridgeshire. This opportunity offers a clear structure for progression & development through salary increases after probation & opportunity for funded qualifications.The package:OvertimeCommitted to ongoing training and developmentPension schemeCompany Sick payOn site parkingThe Duties:Attend breakdowns on site machinery & conveyor systemCarry out PPM's and reactive breakdowns and maintenance in a timely manner to minimise machinery downtime.Liaise with Engineering management & fellow engineers to resolve breakdowns efficiently, professionally & in a timely mannerFollow health 'safety proceduresAttend training & courses for further development, in line with trainingWorking with other engineers on the team to maintain and repair plant machinery.The Requirements:Minimum 3 years' experience as a maintenance engineer in a packaging, manufacturing, FMCG or similar industry (essential)A good balance of Mechanical/Electrical Fault Finding, Repairs with an electrical bias preferred (essential)Apprentice trained with a minimum NVQ level 3 qualification within electrical/mechanical engineering (essential)Previous experience repairing & fault finding on components such as Motors, Gearboxes, Conveyor Systems, Converters, Inverters or PLCs (essential)Understanding of Automated processes (advantageous)An openness to learn, share practices & attend training courses when needed (advantageous)Full UK Drivers LicenseInteraction Recruitment have specialist consultants across the majority of industries withinthe UK, including but not limited to, Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
