HGV Class 2 Hiab DriverPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Hiab Driver to join our well-established and busy builders merchants based in Swindon. This role is Monday to Friday, however some flexibility will be required due to work volumes.This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.Shifts: Monday to Friday 07:00 - 16:30Pay rate: £15.00 per hourBenefitsOngoing workWeekly payImmediate startsOn-site parkingDay-to-day duties: As a Class 2 Hiab Driver, your duties will include (but not be limited to):Delivering building materials to business and customer homesOperating and driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locationsUsing a HIAB/lorry-mounted crane in a safe and efficient mannerPerforming pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspectionsEnsuring all cargo is loaded and secured properlyAdhering to traffic laws and regulationsCommunicating effectively with dispatch and customersReporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to managementAssisting with loading and unloading of cargo when requiredEssential skills: To be successful as a Class 2 Hiab Driver, you will need:A valid grab HIAB licenceA valid UK Category C licence, CPC card, and Digi cardNo more than six penalty points for minor infringements, with no major endorsement codesThe ability to use a PDA (personal digital assistant)A solid understanding of traffic laws and regulationsDesirable experiencePrevious commercial driving experience (beneficial but not essential)Previous multi-drop experience (beneficial but not essential)Training: Training will be provided on your first day, with ongoing support throughout.Contact: If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity as a Class 2 Hiab Driver, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team to find out more.People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process.JBRP1_UKTJ
