Our Specialist School offers a unique and bespoke learning environment for children and young people aged 516 with a wide range of learning difficulties, disabilities, and health conditions, including epilepsy and autism. This is more than a teaching role, its a chance to be part of a nurturing team where every moment is about empowering students to thrive in their own unique way.With classes supporting up to 8 students, you will be able to foster a learning environment where every child feels valued, respected, and understood with the support of a wider multi-disciplinary team of Teaching Assistants, Therapists and Nurses all based on-site here at St Elizabeths.What youll do:Plan and deliver creative, adapted lessons tailored to individual EHCPsWork closely with Learning Support Assistants and therapy teams to provide holistic supportUse a variety of communication methods, including Makaton, PECS, and AACTrack, assess, and report on progress toward academic, personal, and vocational goalsCelebrate every achievement no matter how big or small!About YouYoure a committed educator with a flexible and person-centred approach.
