Estimator Design and Build Fit OutOffice / Commercial InteriorsAbout the CompanyOur client is a well-established and highly regarded regional Design and Build fit out contractor delivering high-quality Cat A and Cat B office interiors across the South of England, operating out of their head office local to Basingstoke.The business has built a strong reputation for quality, collaboration and repeat work and continues to grow. They are now looking to add an ambitious Estimator to their team. This role would suit someone early in their estimating career who already has Design and Build experience and is keen to develop within a supportive and fast-paced environment.Estimator Role Description:You will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and management of tenders for commercial fit out projects up to circa £3m. Working closely with Directors, Project Managers and the wider commercial team, you will gain exposure to the full estimating process and have clear opportunities to progress as the business continues to expand.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyse drawings, specifications and tender documentationPrepare accurate cost plans, take-offs and estimatesSend out and manage subcontractor and supplier enquiriesAssess subcontractor returns and assist with value engineeringSupport the pricing of variations and changesWork closely with project delivery teams throughout the tender processAssist in maintaining pricing databases and tender librariesEstimator Criteria:Experience working as an Estimator within a Design and Build fit out environmentBackground in commercial or office interiors preferredStrong numerical and analytical skillsGood understanding of subcontractor procurementOrganised, motivated and keen to progress long termConfident communicator who works well as part of a teamBenefits:Salary up to circa £55,000 depending on experienceClear career progression within a growing contractorOpportunity to work on high-quality and interesting commercial fit out projectsSupportive team environment with close access to senior leadershipThis is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator looking to build a long-term career with a respected Design and Build contractor delivering some of the regions most exciting commercial interior projects.JBRP1_UKTJ
