We have an opening for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor/Team Leader with our prestigious client in Kirton Lindsey.Location: Sports Direct, Kirton Lindsey, Hurricane Industrial Park, DN21 4HZRole of Warehouse Supervisor/Team LeaderAs a Warehouse Supervisor/Team Leader, you will be responsible for:Direct line management and coaching of Warehouse Operatives / Trainee Supervisors including 1:1's to discuss performance vs expectation, identifying SMART goals when performance not met in any of the key functional areas within responsibility Picking and reallocating stockWorking with the Section Manager for your department to monitor delivery to plan and key areas for your shift improveDriving performance on key metrics ensuring an efficient warehouse operation which can fulfil customer web and store demand on time and in full General warehouse duties (picking/packing)Driving the highest standards of safety on site, working with the Safety team to ensure adherence to all safety routines/procedures (e.g. Floor Safety Inspections, Hazard Spotting, Safety Gemba, Risk Assessments, Audits)Reviewing weekly labour plan to ensure cover is adequate, sharing with Section Manager, highlighting issues/feedbackProviding detail when daily/weekly targets are not met and creating plan to bridgeAlongside the Warehouse Leadership team, you'll partner with other key stakeholders to ensure all strategic activity is on track and supportedSupporting the successful implementation of culture change and turnover reductionRequirementsExperience in Warehousing, Logistics or Supply ChainHigh potential for people and change managementGood systems skillsCustomer focused approach to operational managementResilient, flexible and approachableProblem solving ability in a fast paced businessShift Patterns & Working HoursMonday to Friday: working 1 week on Days 05:00 - 14:00 and another week on Evenings 14:00 - 23:00Pay RatesDay Shift Hours: From £12.90 per hourEvening Shift Hours: From £13.67 per hourPaid weeklyTemp to perm roleBenefitsLong-term opportunities with a genuine chance of permanent employmentImmediate start availableExcellent overtime potentialFree on-site car parkingOn-site canteenFriendly working environmentEasy-to-access site location28 days holiday per yearPension schemeEmployed statusPersonal accident insuranceWork with a large international clientJoin a friendly, supportive teamApply now to secure your place on our next induction.
