Senior Quantity Surveyor (MRICS)Location:Poole, DorsetSalary: £60,000£85,000 DOE + bonus (flexible for the right candidate)+ 25 days holiday + Car Allowance + PensionBlaymires Recruitment is representing a well-established and growing construction company based near Poole. Due to continued success, they are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their friendly and professional team.The company has projects located in both Dorset & Hampshire currently with more than 80 residential units in Weymouth, 35+ in Warsash and 15+ in Southbourne.This is a key role, offering the opportunity to take full commercial ownership of projects and contribute to the delivery of high-quality, financially efficient construction schemes.The RoleYou will manage project costs from inception through to final account, working closely with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure budgets are controlled, risks are managed, and contractual obligations are met.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparing and managing cost plans, budgets, and estimates throughout the project lifecycleMonitoring expenditure, producing cost reports, and managing cash flowLeading procurement activities, including tendering, bid evaluation, and subcontractor negotiationsValuing works, managing variations, and agreeing final accountsLiaising with clients and stakeholders to provide clear commercial updatesEnsuring compliance with contractual requirements and company proceduresAbout YouMinimum 8 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industryRICS qualified, ideally MRICSStrong commercial and contractual knowledgeHighly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projectsConfident communicator with strong negotiation skillsProficient in MS Excel and relevant cost management software (e.g. CostX or similar)Whats on OfferStrong salary of £60k£85k DOE, plus bonusFlexibility for the right individualLong-term career opportunity within a supportive, growing businessVaried and engaging project workThis role would suit a motivated, commercially astute Quantity Surveyor looking to join a respected company where their experience and expertise will be valued.If you would like further information about this role, then contact Steve at Blaymires Recruitment.JBRP1_UKTJ
