We are now seeking an enthusiastic and motivated SalariedGP to join our friendly and progressive multidisciplinary team, due to planned retirement of one of our longstandingGP Partners.Looking for 1 x 8 Session Salaried GPMain duties of the jobAs a Salaried GP at Bridge Street Surgery, you will work as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, patient-centred primary care services.About usBridge Street Surgery is a well-established, forward-thinking GP practice located in the centre of Downham Market, Norfolk, with ample free parking and excellent transport links.We provide high quality, patient centred care to a registered population of approximately 8,500 patients and are proud to be a teaching and research practice led by a stable and supportive partnership of five experienced GP partners.We are a dispensing practice, providing prescription services to our rural village patients, and are part of a proactive and well-functioning Primary Care Network (PCN). Through the PCN, we benefit from a wide range of ARRS roles, including clinical pharmacists and a mental health practitioner.Our multidisciplinary team includes two paramedics who lead our home visits and care home ward rounds, as well as highly skilled nursing, pharmacy and administrative teams. We also provide GP registrar training and Year 6 medical student placements.We are committed to creating a positive, inclusive and supportive working environment, with a strong focus on staff wellbeing, professional development and delivering outstanding patient care.Job responsibilitiesProvide high quality, safe and effective primary medical care to registered patientsUndertake routine, urgent and same-day consultationsAssess, diagnose, treat and manage patients with acute and chronic conditionsProvide ongoing care and support for patients with long-term conditionsUndertake home visits and care home reviews as required (supported by paramedic team)Prescribe safely and appropriately in accordance with national and local guidelinesMaintain accurate medical recordsParticipate in clinical audit, quality improvement and clinical governance activitiesPerson SpecificationQualificationsFull GMC registration with a licence to practise and inclusion on the GP Register (CCT, MRCGP or equivalent).Inclusion on the NHS England Medical Performers List (or eligible for inclusion), with no conditions or restrictions that would preclude independent practice.Disclosure and Barring Service CheckThis post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
