Job Summary We are looking to welcome a locum consultant anaesthetist to primarily work within adult general theatres and be on the daytime adult general on call rota. The role requires skills in major general surgery and regional anaesthesia. Additional qualifications or an interest in safety, quality and governance would also be beneficial. This is a fixed‑term post of 12 months. Main Duties The post holder will provide high‑quality anaesthesia services across a broad range of specialties, including general surgery, major trauma, orthopaedics, plastics and other specialities. The job plan will be at least 50% flexi sessions, allowing the post holder to retain diverse skills. The role also involves evening and weekend daytime on‑call work and contributing to the plastics and trauma weekend rota.
