About the Role The post holder will be a leading member of the well-established multi-disciplinary team providing Consultant input into the Adult Inpatient Team. We operate a full MDT approach, with strong clinical leadership, and the post holder will work closely with Consultant colleagues in other teams. The Consultant will have a flexible time table designed to respond to the needs of the patients and carers as well as the needs of the team members for support and advice, whilst providing direct delivery of the most complex care. Ideally suited to those with an interest in service development and/or medical education and training. This would be an ideal post for a new Consultant with a supportive peer group on offer and plenty of opportunity to grow and develop special interests in post. The job plan relates to a whole‑time appointment with an opportunity to modify this if the post is offered as part-time or job share. The Trust would offer this post to a candidate who is interested in undertaking two years in an acute in‑patient role with a view to moving into a community based role after the two years should they wish.
