This is a hands-on supervisory role, responsible for overseeing personnel, equipment, and workflow while ensuring compliance with roadworthiness and health 'safety standards. The Role Manage and support workshop personnel, ensuring effective planning and efficient workflow Act as a key point of contact for internal and external customers Prepare quotes and provide progress updates throughout the job lifecycle Plan, oversee, and sign off work, ensuring accurate documentation and real-time invoicing Inspect, repair, and maintain vehicles and specialist equipment in line with DVSA and roadworthiness requirements Maintain high standards of compliance, housekeeping, and workshop safety Promote a strong and positive Health & Safety culture at all times What Were Looking For Proven experience in maintenance and repair within a workshop environment (RCVs or similar advantageous) Strong background in both body and chassis work Level 3 Motor Vehicle qualification (or equivalent) and a current PLG licence Confident diagnostic skills, including the ability to interpret wiring diagrams Good working knowledge of electronics, hydraulics, and workshop documentation Customer-focused, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision Flexible to travel occasionally and work overtime when required55b20050-bc17-4e5d-bfce-3c406318dffc
