MW Accounting Services Ltd is a growing, independent accountancy practice seeking an experienced Practice Accountant (ACCA / ACA or QBE) to support continued growth.Please read the information in this job post thoroughly to understand exactly what is expected of potential candidates.The role is primarily on-site working, owing to the client facing nature of the role, but occassional days can be worked from home.This opportunity would suit a technically strong accountant who enjoys managing their own client portfolio, delivering high-quality work, and building long-term client relationships within a professional and supportive environment.The firm is growing sustainably and is looking for someone who wants to grow with it.The Role You will manage a portfolio of clients and act as their primary point of contact, ensuring compliance, accuracy and strong advisory support.Key Responsibilities: Preparation of Limited Company Accounts Preparation of Self-Assessment Tax Returns Preparation of VAT Returns and Payroll Managing and developing a portfolio of clients Acting as the main contact for client queries Working with cloud-based software including Xero, QuickBooks, SAGE and FreeAgent This is a hands-on Practice Accountant role with genuine client ownership.About You ACA / ACCA qualified preferred (QBE considered) Minimum 5 years experience within an accountancy practice Experience managing a client portfolio Strong technical accounting knowledge Confident user of cloud accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, SAGE, FreeAgent) Strong written and verbal communication skills Whats On Offer 45,000 55,000 salary (depending on experience) Company pension On-site parking Flexible working hours hours can be flexed depending on business workload and life requirements. xjdpvnf If you are an experienced Practice Accountant (ACCA / ACA) seeking a portfolio-led role within a growing firm, we would welcome your application.
