Are you ready for the challengeWe are seeking a Dyno Support Engineer to join our Test team. You will be based at our cutting-edge engineering and manufacturing facility in Milton Keynes, designed to produce high-performance Power Units for the 2026 engine regulations.In this role youll be expected to:Manage test field and facility servicing, as well as maintenance topics including scheduling and spare part portfolio ordering / management.Liaise with external contractors, suppliers & internal stakeholders to manage servicing, maintenance and repairs across the test field.Play a role in setup and support of test bed hardware for a wide range of F1 Powertrain dynos and test rigs with various unit under tests (UUTs).Perform a wide variety of mechanical, electrical troubleshooting and fault diagnosis in a time efficient manner - including test bed hardware and facility system issues.Be a focal point of support/advice for the wider team on technical and servicing related topics, including creation and ownership of detailed documentation, procedures and guidance to others.Carry out repairs/modifications to test bed hardware and integration kit.Operate with an independent and efficient approach to ensure the often-tight deadlines are met.Contribute to the long-term development and utilisation of the test facilities.Youll need to have the following attributes:Degree level in Mechanical/Automotive or Electrical Engineering and relevant hands on technical experienceYou will have a track record and experience in the field of state-of-the-art engine, powertrain and/or component testing, ideally with top class level racing background.Fabrication skills, including welding and manual machining.Experience with Powertrain engine, transmission and driveline control systemsNatural problem-solver with proven experience and a structured approach in a varied technical environmentKnowledge of test bed systems with the ability to complete data analysis & fault diagnosisAt Red Bull Powertrains, we push the limits, fight for every victory, and get things done with relentless focus.
