We are looking for a proactive and knowledgeable Health & Safety Advisor to join our team and provide essential support across the entire business. From our factory and testing facilities at Grove to trackside operations and commercial functions, youll be a trusted point of contact for all health and safety matters.Interested in learning more about this job Scroll down and find out what skills, experience and educational qualifications are needed.In this role, youll champion a positive safety culture, ensure compliance with legislation and internal standards, and play a key part in continuously improving how we keep our people safe.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational SupportSupport departments in creating, reviewing and updating Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and Standard Operating Procedures.Assist teams in collecting and managing COSHH data, including inventories, safety data sheets and assessments.Safety Culture & EngagementActively promote safety throughout the business.Deliver toolbox talks and collaborate with the Health & Safety Committee.Compliance & AssuranceLead accident and incident investigations, including root cause analysis and reporting.Conduct audits and inspections across all business areas to ensure compliance with internal procedures and legislative requirements.Provide clear and practical advice on a wide range of health and safety topics, including PPE.Key AccountabilitiesEmbody and encourage others to follow Williams Values & Behaviours.Ensure a thorough understanding of and compliance with health and safety obligations.Maintain high standards of conduct and act as a positive ambassador for the department.Uphold brand standards and ensure the department is professionally presented.Work to quality standards and proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement.Maintain awareness of and comply with cost cap rules and requirements.Core CompetenciesWe are looking for someone with strong working knowledge of:PUWER, DSEAR, LOLER, Vibration, Occupational Hygiene, Fire Safety, COSHH, DSE, PPE, Working at Height, Manual HandlingContractor control, RAMS review, statutory inspections, and supporting Facilities/Maintenance teams with H&S responsibilitiesYou will also demonstrate:Clear, empathetic and engaging communication skillsStrong report writing capabilityThe ability to present complex information succinctly to all levels of the businessResilience, motivation and passion for driving positive changeCompany DescriptionFor almost 50 years, Williams F1 Team has been at the forefront of one of the fastest sports on the planet, being one of the top three most successful teams in history competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship.
