The group is a specialist producer of high-quality private label and branded foods supplied to leading retailers and foodservice operators across international markets.The UK arm plays a central role in the group's growth strategy, producing a broad range of chilled and frozen products spanning deli, party food, snacking, meal accompaniments and food-to-go. The business is recognised for its collaborative approach with retail partners, strong NPD capability and ability to deliver both premium and everyday private label solutions.With continued investment in manufacturing, innovation and category insight, the business supplies many of the UK's most respected grocery retailers alongside export and foodservice customers. The culture combines the backing of a major international manufacturer with the agility and autonomy of a close-knit UK commercial team.About the RoleAn opportunity has arisen for a Senior National Account Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of major UK grocery customers within the private label and branded retail channel.The account base is expected to include leading premium and mainstream retailers such as M&S, Waitrose and Sainsbury's, with final allocation dependent on experience.You will lead strategic relationships, developing long-term joint business plans focused on category growth, innovation and commercial performance. The role offers strong visibility internally and the opportunity to influence both customer strategy and wider business direction.Working closely with NPD, category, technical and supply chain teams, you'll play a key role in bringing new products to market and strengthening the business's position as a trusted retail partner.Key ResponsibilitiesFull P&L responsibility for a portfolio of UK retail accountsBuilding and delivering joint business plansLeading commercial negotiations, pricing and range reviewsDriving NPD and category opportunities across chilled and frozenForecasting, budgeting and performance managementCross-functional collaboration with technical, supply chain and innovation teamsActing as the voice of the customer internallyIdentifying opportunities for growth across own-label and branded rangesYour BackgroundNational Account Manager or Senior NAM experience within UK groceryExperience working within private label food manufacturingStrong relationship-building and negotiation skillsCommercially astute with solid P&L management experienceExperience delivering NPD launches with major retailersComfortable working autonomously in a home-based roleChilled, frozen, deli or food-to-go category exposure advantageousWhat's on OfferSalary up to £65,00020% bonus£5,400 car allowance or company car8% pension33 days holidayGenuine scope to influence growth within a well-invested UK businessLocationHome-based with regular customer travel and one day per week at a South Wales manufacturing site.Next StepsFor more information or a confidential discussion, please contact:Aidan Goodall01943 667280
