Pay:£12.21 per hourJob description:Production OperativeDurham Area£12.21 per hourMonday Thursday | 06:00 15:00 // Friday | 06:30 15:30We are currently recruiting for aProduction Operativeto join a well-established food manufacturing operation based in the Durham area.This is a physically demanding, hands-on role working within a fast-paced production environment. You will be working across multiple areas of the production process, supporting the manufacturing of food products from raw ingredient stage through to finished goods.The Role:You will be involved in various stages of the production process, including:Weighing and preparing ingredientsMixing batches using industrial whisks and paddlesMonitoring product consistency and qualityManual handling of materials (regular lifting up to 25kg)Transferring product between production areasAssisting with small amounts of packing and labellingEnsuring strict hygiene and food safety standards are maintained at all timesCleaning down equipment and workstations in line with food production regulationsYou will rotate across different areas of the production floor depending on daily production requirements, so flexibility and a proactive attitude are essential.Requirements:Level 2 Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (essential)Ability to lift up to 25kg safely and consistentlyComfortable with repetitive and strenuous manual workGood attention to detail and ability to follow process instructionsReliable with good timekeepingA DBS check will be required for successful candidatesPrevious production or food manufacturing experience preferredWhats on Offer:£12.21 per hourMonday to Friday working hours + Bank Holiday Work no weekends3-month structured training programme providedFull PPE supplied Except safety ShoesStable, ongoing opportunityThis role would suit someone who enjoys practical, physically active work and takes pride in maintaining high production and hygiene standards.Apply now for immediate consideration.Job Type: Temp to permTPBN1_UKTJ
