Manufacturing OperatorLocation: Bishops StortfordShifts: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 16:30Pay Rate: £12.95We are seeking a Manufacturing Operator I to join our team in a fast-paced, GMP-regulated environment. You will play a key role in supporting operational processes by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and technical drawings related to assembly, materials handling, equipment operation, and shipment packaging.This role requires high attention to detail, the ability to follow regulated procedures, and comfort working in a collaborative cleanroom environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAccurately pull materials using internal software systemsPick and pack client orders with precisionBook courier transport to ensure on-time deliveriesComplete GMP documentation accurately and in real timeReceive and record biological sample deliveriesMaintain and balance inventoryDispose of materials according to strict guidelinesAdhere to SOPs and EHS regulationsSupport compliance with MHRA (GMP), HTA, ISO 9001:2015Perform client-specific administrative tasks (including email communication)Operate within a repository environment (dry ice, LN2, hazardous agents)Skills & Experience RequiredAbility to work effectively in a collaborative team environmentStrong attention to detail and accuracyBasic mathematics skillsGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to follow structured procedures and documentationComfortable performing repetitive tasksDemonstrates values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and InvolvementEducation: Secondary education, Advanced Certificate, or equivalent.Physical & Environmental RequirementsWork in a fast-paced, controlled cleanroom environmentWear full gowning (gloves, hair/beard net, face covering, safety glasses; no makeup or jewellery)Use PPE and follow chemical hygiene protocolsLift up to 50 lbs (infrequently)Stand for extended periods; bend, reach, stoop as requiredOperate hand tools involving gripping, pushing, and pullingJBRP1_UKTJ
