Senior Quantity Surveyor - Infrastructure, Utilities & GroundworksKentUp to £70,000 per annum + benefitsWe are working with a well-established infrastructure and utilities contractor based in Kent who are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support a growing portfolio of long-term utility, civil engineering, and groundworks projects.This is a key commercial role offering autonomy, progression, and involvement in major frameworks across utilities and enabling works.The RoleAs Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take full commercial responsibility for multiple projects, from early cost planning through to final account.Key responsibilities include:Commercial management of infrastructure, utilities, and groundworks projectsPreparing, reviewing, and negotiating subcontractor and supplier packagesCost forecasting, reporting, and risk managementManaging valuations, variations, and final accountsCommercial input on earthworks, drainage, foundations, and enabling worksSupporting and mentoring junior commercial staffWorking closely with operational and delivery teams to maximise valueEnsuring contractual compliance (NEC experience highly beneficial)About YouProven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within groundworks, infrastructure, utilities, or civil engineeringExperience with pre contract, post contract, tendering, estimatingComfortable operating at Senior QS level or ready to step upStrong knowledge of cost control, procurement, and contract administrationHands-on experience with groundworks packages (earthworks, drainage, services, foundations)Experience with NEC contracts preferredExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsBSc in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)Whats On OfferSalary up to £70,000 depending on experience plus company carLong-term, secure workload through utility and infrastructure frameworksClear progression opportunities within a growing businessSupportive, professional team environmentCompetitive benefits packageEssentialAll applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK (sponsorship not provided).Full UK driving license requiredWhat to do nextIf youre interested in this role, please apply and we will be in touch!Modus Personnel are acting as an employment agency on behalf of our client.JBRP1_UKTJ
