Position: HGV SST Tanker Driver /Drainage EngineerLocation:Camberley Depot-MTS Yard 1, Lynchford Lane, Farnborough, GU14 6JDLine Reporting Manager: DepotManagerHours: Monday - Friday, 06:00am - 16:00pm, 50hour contracted week, 7/5 contractSalary: £14.10ph / £36,660 annual basic salary. £21.15 Over time rate(paid for any hours worked over the 50hour week) (Callout and night work bonuses).£45 night work through bonus. Which means if you was to work through the night into the next day you would get the bonus on top off moneys for hours worked.Call out bonus: You get put on a schedule for call outs. £30 for a weekday, £45 per a day on the weekend.Benefits forHGV Class 2 Driver:Company pensionDeath in service cover20 days annual leave, Enhancements with time served.With opportunities to work on the bank holidays for bonuses. Which means if you was to earn over your basic salary (lots of overtime) for the last 3 months you would be paid what youve averagely earnt not at just your basic salary.Paid Training/Induction Week:Training Courses given at inductionEUSR Water Hygiene Card (Blue)EU Skills Card (Green)Principle Duties and Accountabilities:Being flexible in your approach to work and undertake ad-hoc duties when your vehicle is off the road or if you are required to assist other field teamsRoles and Responsibilities forHGV Class 2 Driver:Drive and operate specialist jetting tankers; Super Suction Jetting Tankers, Combination Jetting Tankers once training has been provided (Class 2, CPC required)Attend emergency call out situations dealing with sewer blockages, flooding and pollutionWorking on Private and public land in strict accordance with statutory health, safety and environmental proceduresUndertake vehicle checks at the start and finish of each shiftEnsure that all jobs are documented correctlyReport all defects, accidents and near misses immediately to Line ManagerMaintain the drivers log book in compliance with MOT rules and proceduresEnsure that the conditions of all PPE (personal protective clothing and equipment) remain fit for purposeKeep the vehicle and equipment washed down on a weekly basis, free from rubbish in hose and tool boxes and the cabAttend training as and when requiredHealth & Safety ResponsibilitiesWork safely and follow company health 'safety proceduresUse risk assessments and safe systems of workComplete basic site paperwork and safety checksReport any incidents or near misses to your managerRepresent the company professionally and responsibly on siteRequirementsHGV Class 2 licenceAbility to work safely, follow instructions, and deal politely with the publicComfortable working independently with remote instructionsDesirable (Not Essential)Experience in drainage, liquid waste, or environmental servicesStreet works or high-pressure water jetting experienceTraining ProvidedFirst Aid, Manual Handling, Asbestos Awareness, and other relevant safety trainingJBRP1_UKTJ
