Role: Multi Skilled Operative PlastererContract: Permanent - full timeLocation: Barnstaple and surrounding areasHours: 37 hoursSalary: Up to £31,464.72 per annum depending on experience - plus benefitsThe RoleAre you an experienced plasterer looking to make a difference within the North Devon community? North Devon Homes is seeking Plasterers to join our Multi-Skilled Operatives within our Response & Void team. Youll deliver high-quality improvement, repair, and installation activities, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with industry standards.Key Responsibilities:Carry out a full range of duties, including plastering, rendering, internal wall insulation, and damp-proofing.Work collaboratively with colleagues, subcontractors, and customers to deliver an efficient, customer-focused repairs service.Maintain excellent service standards and represent North Devon Homes professionally.Support continuous improvement and promote our values and culture.Adhere to Health and Safety legislation and operational protocols.Manage van stock and issued equipment effectively.Participate in out-of-hours service provision when required.What Were Looking For:Experience in delivering high levels of customer service.Completion of a recognised plastering apprenticeship or equivalent experience.City & Guilds Level 2 Qualification in plastering or similar.Full, valid UK driving licence.Strong knowledge of construction activities and Health & Safety legislation.Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.Flexible, resilient, and committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion.Benefits27 days holiday plus bank holidays7% Employer contribution PensionCash Plan of up to £1600 per yearEmployee Assistance Programme (EAP)Health & Wellbeing SupportFamily Friendly PoliciesCycle to Work SchemeTech SchemeRefer a Friend SchemeThe successful candidate will be required to complete a Basic DBS check.Closing date: 18 March 2026 - 9amInterviews: We will be inviting applicants to interview throughout February and March, closing the vacancy when we have successfully appointed the new plasterer.
