Partners& is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, ensuring trusted and professional services.The purpose of this role is to support the design, planning and implementation of change, in line with business strategy.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, hybrid role and we are looking for candidates in any of the following areas - London, Bristol, Oxford or Birmingham.The Business Engineer will be responsible forSupporting the design, planning and delivery of business change projectsDeveloping consistent systems and processes to support best practice across the businessEnsuring that IT and broking applications/platforms remain fit for purposeAdvocating the broking applications optimisationSupporting on broking system migration projects, including configuration, mapping, documents, testing and training design and deliveryAssisting with data analysis for the businessAssisting development and maintenance of SQL data warehousePromoting and developing approaches for process and system improvements to continually enhance the colleague and client experienceSupporting the design and delivery of training and communications on agreed projectsBuilding and maintain strong relationships with third party suppliers on technical development of systems and telephony infrastructureMaintaining own CPDSkillsWorking experience in a change management functionBusiness analyst skills – data analysis and process mappingSystems trainingAbility to build strong relationships at all levelsAbility to influence others and work towards a common goalAdaptable and ability to organise selfStrong problem-solving skillsConcern for excellence and qualityDetailed understanding of insurance broking processes and practiceExperience of the Acturis broking platformExperience of SQL database creation and queriesRequirements gathering
