Teaching Assistant£95-105 per dayImmediate StartQualiteach Yorkshire are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant for multiple schools in Leeds. This may include working with children with moderate and complex learning needs. The settings range from specialist SEN schools to mainstream schools who also work with children who have special education needs. These schools are looking for someone with a range of experience to join their teams ASAP.The Role:Can involve working with children on a 1:1 and group basis who have a variety of needs, tailoring learning to suit themWorking within a team and helping to build a comfortable environment for all children and staff, supporting challenging behaviour and SEN requirementsFollowing care plans, EHCPs, Pupil Passports and other relevant documents where necessaryUsing a holistic approach within a multi-disciplinary team of specialistsMay include carrying out individual interventions to aid childrens learningWhat you will need:Experience of working with children who have complex needsA willingness to jump in and help where necessaryBeing a positive role model and influenceThe ability to support challenging behaviour, encourage independence and be patient and willing to build long lasting relationships with pupilsHave a good awareness of safeguarding proceduresWhat we offer:When you work with Qualiteach, you will have access to a range of expertise and advice as well as benefits.
