You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the workshop, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety at all times. Your responsibilities will include:Leading, supervising, and developing a small workshop team (23 fabricators)Managing workshop operations, equipment, workflow, and job allocationActing as the technical lead for fabrication and welding standardsWorking closely with the line manager to plan workloads and meet project deadlinesCutting, prepping, drilling, and MIG welding mild steel to a high standardOverseeing fabrication processes and ensuring procedures are followed consistentlyProducing precise, high-quality steelwork from detailed drawingsMaintaining and enforcing excellent health and safety practicesOccasionally attending sites when required for installations and on-site weldingSupporting continuous improvement across workshop systems and processesAbout YouWere looking for a senior-level professional who brings both technical ability and leadership capability.
