Job Description: Assistant Branch Manager, YaxleyWe have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Branch Manager to join our clients team at their brand-new site in Yaxley, Peterborough, Cambs.The role:As an Assistant Branch Manager, you will report directly to the Branch Manager and support the day to day running of the branch. You will identify and capitalise on every sales opportunity, inspiring your customers with the perfect solutions for their requirements.The Assistant Branch Manager will be an expert at building rapport quickly and creating trusted relationships to ensure that everything you do enables them to deliver on their promises to their customers and exceed expectations.Key Responsibilities:Serving customers and dealing with enquiriesProcessing cash, card and online paymentsUpdating customer records in the companys database as requiredHandling product returns and payment refund requestsPromoting products based on the companys directivesArranging products on the shelves and on promotional displaysUnpacking and sorting new stock deliveryManaging product inventory at the storeKeeping the shop cleanEnd of day cashing upAssisting the Branch Manager to profitably meet and exceed the branch sales targetsManaging the sales office, branch purchasing and stock controlBuild and maintain relationships with new and existing trade and retail customersProficiency in using a point of sale system (POS) and inventory management softwareStrong knowledge of MS Office suiteKnowledge of timber/construction materialsAbility to conduct effective salesExcellent communication skillsAbility to work under pressure (Peak times)Ability to work well with a teamWhat do we offer you?£ 34000 per annumCompany Bonus (performance dependant)Staff discountLoyalty Holiday SchemeFree parking on siteInterested?
