Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our client near Chippenham who are actively looking to recruit a Lead Multi-Skilled Assembly Engineer on a permanent basis.What you will be doing:Assembly of a range of products ensuring they are built to high standards of precision and qualityLeading the coordination of jobs and process improvementsAssembly and integration of complex systems including hydraulic, mechanical and electrical componentsWorking from detailed engineering drawings, wiring schedules, schematics, hydraulic circuit diagrams and work instructionsInstallation of hydraulic systems including pumps, valves, actuators and fittingsElectrical wiring, cable routing, termination and test of control panels and sensorsTesting of assembled systems, identifying and rectifying faults where necessaryWhat you will need to succeed:Experience within a heavy engineering environment essentialExtensive hydraulics and diagnostic experience (large part of the role)Electrical ability including 12/24vA good eye for detail and the ability to solve problems and plan aheadAbility to read and reverse engineer production plansAttention to detail, ensuring the highest quality standardsExcellent communication skills as you will be dealing with a variety of individualsBTEC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalentWhat you will receive in return:Competitive salaryFull time Monday to Friday including early finish on a Friday!The opportunity to join a progressive and innovative company with a diverse product portfolioCareer development opportunities*Please note 100% site based*What you need to do next:If you are interested in being considered for this position, please contact sarah.collins@ thrivegroup.co.ukThrive are acting as an employment business in relationship to this vacancy.If you have not heard from a consultant within 7 days, please assume you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.INDTROJBRP1_UKTJ
