Teams operate in multidisciplinary environments to deliver innovative, high-quality, and compliant engineering solutions.Role OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Clean Water Process Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team on water treatment and process engineering projects. The role offers responsibility for technical outputs, process optimisation, compliance with regulatory standards, and mentorship of junior engineers. This contract position provides the opportunity to work on challenging infrastructure projects and contribute to innovative solutions within the water sector.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the evaluation, design, and optimisation of process solutions for clean water treatment projectsDeliver technical outputs, including calculations, specifications, design documentation, and project scoping materialsEnsure all engineering deliverables meet regulatory and quality standardsSupport commissioning activities and provide technical guidance on operational performanceMentor and coach junior engineers, supporting their professional development and chartership aspirationsContribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices, standards, and proceduresCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate process, civil, structural and mechanical requirementsAnalyse and report on process performance, including cost, risk, and efficiency considerationsCandidate RequirementsDegree-level qualification in Chemical Engineering, or relevant engineering/scientific disciplineChartered Engineer status, or working towards chartershipMinimum 5 years' experience designing and optimising clean water treatment processesStrong understanding of industry standards, regulations, and CDM 2015 requirementsCompetent in project and process software, including Microsoft Office, and experience with design toolsExcellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and mentoring skillsProven ability to deliver innovative solutions for complex engineering challengesFlexible, self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary teamsJBRP1_UKTJ
