Job PurposeWe are looking for experienced shunter driver to assist with the transporting of finished goods across our multiple production sites in Corby. The ideal candidate must have a class 1 license and have some experience in operating a Terberg and have a minimum of 2 years experience driving a HGV.Job SummaryAs a shunter, you will be responsible for transporting materials between our 4 sites including raw materials & finished goods as well as moving trailers/vehicles on & off bays along with some warehouse/operational duties when required. This role requires strong communication skills and being able to prioritise key tasks in a timely manner. Being a safety-first organisation, youll need to conduct daily yard checks and checks of the vehicles reporting any defects to the transport office. Youll also need to ensure all movements are loaded securely in line with DVSA regulations. You will play a vital role in maintaining the organisations reputation for reliability and professionalism.
