Field Sales Manager – Test & MeasurementLocation: South West UK (Field-Based)Employment Type: Full-time | PermanentSalary: Up to £65,000 + Attractive, Uncapped Commission StructureAbout The CompanyA leading global provider within the electronic components and Test & Measurement ecosystem, delivering value-added distribution, documented cost savings, MRO solutions and strategic supplier partnerships across Industrial, Manufacturing and Engineering markets.With a strong European footprint and ambitious UK growth plans, this organisation is investing in commercially astute field sales professionals who understand how to balance revenue, margin, and long-term customer value.Role Overview – A High-Activity Revenue DriverThis is a front-line, territory-focused sales role managing approximately 250–350 revenue-significant SME accounts across the South West region.You will develop new business, re-activate dormant customers, grow wallet share within existing accounts, and position the full suite of Test & Measurement, MRO, and value-added solutions. Your success will be measured on Revenue Growth, GP performance and structured activity KPIs.This role suits a disciplined, energetic sales professional who thrives on field engagement and understands how to translate technical capability into commercial advantage.Key ResponsibilitiesNew Business & Lead QualificationIdentify and qualify new regional sales leadsExecute structured follow-up on supplier and marketing campaignsConvert opportunities across Test & Measurement, Platinum Suppliers and value-added solutionsAccount Growth & Re-ActivationDrive re-engagement campaigns targeting dormant accountsDevelop and execute annualised account growth plansDeliver documented cost savings to strengthen retention and marginCommercial & Operational CoordinationOversee order management processes (order entry, contract review, OTIF performance, returns, inventory coordination)Align with Procurement, Operations, Quality and Finance to protect profitabilityMonitor KPIs to identify service or margin gaps and implement corrective actionCustomer EngagementDeliver structured, persuasive presentations (virtual and in-person)Conduct regular field visits across the South West territoryMaintain full CRM discipline to ensure 360° account visibilityTechnical PositioningLeverage strong Test & Measurement expertise to uncover application-driven opportunitiesContinuously develop product and market knowledgeRequirementsExperience2+ years industrial sales experience5+ years hands-on experience using Test & Measurement equipmentProven track record achieving revenue and GP targetsExperience delivering documented cost savingsEducationBachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Industrial Distribution, or equivalent technical qualificationCore CompetenciesStrong client relationship management skillsCommercially driven with structured sales methodologyHigh activity levels and disciplined territory planningExcellent communication and presentation capabilityProficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Full UK driving licenceRegular weekly travel across the South West UK is required.What's On OfferBasic salary up to £65,000Attractive, uncapped commission structureClear revenue and GP-based performance metricsHigh-autonomy field roleExposure to premium Test & Measurement manufacturersStrong internal operational and marketing supportApply now or send a confidential DM to learn more.
