We're recruiting an experienced Low Voltage Systems Engineer to support cutting edge R&D and future vehicle programmes. This role focuses on the development, integration, validation, and sig off of low voltage systems and components across multiple vehicle projects.Working cross functionally with Electrical, Body & Trim, Powertrain and Whole Vehicle engineering teams, you will ensure that all low‐voltage systems meet programme, safety and compliance requirements.What's on offer:Location: Hybrid (3 days per week on-site)Start Date: ASAPContract Length: Until 30/06/2026 (very likely extension / ongoing for the right person)Hours: 35 per weekTravel: Occasional UK & European travelDriving Licence requiredWhat you'll do:Develop, integrate and validate low-voltage components both on and off vehicleReview and approve circuit diagramsSupport software and hardware management activitiesLead fault- finding, diagnostics and root‐cause analysisWork across engineering functions to deliver fully validated low voltage systemsManage suppliers and track delivery of components and softwareSupport compliance, functional safety and documentation processesValidate base software functionality and low‐voltage energy management calibrationProvide technical support to production, aftersales, logistics and project teamsConduct static and driving tests using specialist tools and equipmentSupport part introductions, changes, releases and platform updatesUse tools such as CANape, CANoe, INCA, Vector tools, ODIS etc. for testing and validationWhat will make you successful:Strong understanding of low voltage vehicle systems and componentsExperience with energy management systems, 12V power delivery, batteries & DC/DC convertersKnowledge of 12V charging technology, diagnostics, CCA/C20 standardsUnderstanding of medium (48V) & high‐voltage systemsExperience with CAN, LIN, FlexRay networksExperience using Vector tools (CANoe, CANape, CANalyser), INCA, NI LabView/DiademWhat Next?Apply below to share your CV or call our offices for full detailsTiro is a specialist Employment Agency & Employment Business assisting with both contract and permanent opportunities in high performance cars, motorsport, software, electronics, engineering & manufacturing.
