About If you are an experienced CNC Machinist looking to work for a well established family-run business with a great client base including leading engineering firms across the UK, then look no further! Our client, based in Royston is looking for a skilled individual with a strong attention to detail to join their busy and growing team.Please make sure you read the following details carefully before making any applications.What youll be doing Set and operate CNC milling machines independently (Fanuc, Heidenhain, and/or HAAS) Follow CAM-generated programs, working from technical drawings and specifications Machine bespoke, precision parts from metals and plastics Handle challenging, one-off jobs requiring problem-solving and adaptability Ensure quality through visual inspections and support from our internal QA team Maintain safe, tidy, and efficient working conditions in line with Health & Safety protocols Collaborate with your team to deliver work on time and to a high standard What youll need 5 years of CNC machining experience Proven ability to set xjdpvnf and operate mills independently Experience working with both metal and plastic materials Comfortable working under time pressure in a fast-paced prototyping environment Why join our client Optional 4-day work week (10-hour shifts) A relaxed, supportive atmosphere where your skills are valued
