Ariel Healthcare is a dynamic and innovative practice basedin the South Somerset Countryside town of Chard. Chard has a small-town feeland close-knit community. We are on theborder of both Devon and Dorset, on the edge of the Blackdown Hills, just offthe A303 trunk road to London and benefit from good transport links to Tauntonand Yeovil. The UNESCO World HeritageJurassic Coast, Exmoor and the Somerset Levels are all only half an hoursdrive away, allowing for plenty of lifestyle and downtime opportunities.Due to retirement, we are keen to find the right person tofurther enhance our GP team. We focus onthe quality of the care we provide to our patients and encourage continuity ofcare throughout our patient population.We have named GP lists, aiming for the small practice feel but with thebenefits of a large practice team for support.With urgent care being separately managed, routine surgeries can bespent focusing on the quality and continuity of patient care.2 sites within walking distance and plans for a new build surgery within the next couple of years. The only practice in Chard.Main duties of the jobA dynamic and forward thinking GP to join our close andfriendly team. You will be a list holding GP with a focus on routine clinical care spending 1 or 2 sessions a week (pro-rata) in our Urgent Care hub alongside another GP and the associated clinicians. With an admin session (pro-rata) a week to give you time to manage clincial workflow.This could either be in a salaried role for those who wishit or with the possibility of partnership for those who are seeking more of aleadership role. All offers would beinitially for a salaried post. For thosewanting more of a leadership role, there would be 6 months salaried mutualassessment prior to consideration of partnership but there would be parity fromthe start of partnership.We hold monthly GP meetings for all our GPs, partners andsalaried. This is where the day to daydecisions are made with regards how GP matters are run.
