Sales Account ManagerWe are looking for a Sales Account Manager to join a leading national distributor based in Tamworth. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market-leading organisation that offers stability, strong support, and clear opportunities for career development.Salary: Up to £27,000 + BonusLocation: TamworthBenefits include:25 days holidayCompany bonus scheme (up to 20% annually)Pension – contribution matched plus additional 2%Private healthcareMain DutiesAchieve sales targets by value, volume, and gross margin for designated accounts/areasDevelop and monitor new customer accountsRespond effectively to targets set and agreed with the Sales Office ManagerMaintain a high standard of day-to-day communication with customers via telephone, email, and other channelsMonitor all aspects of the sales order process, ensuring procedures are followed correctlyPrepare and issue quotations in line with company pricing policies, using cut-to-size optimisation software and CRM systemsProduce monthly sales reports for the Sales Office ManagerAssist with stock purchasing to meet agreed stock turn targetsWork closely with the Warehouse & Distribution Manager to ensure service levels meet customer demand while minimising costsAttend Sales Office and Branch meetings as requiredCarry out additional duties as requested by the Sales or Branch ManagerObserve all Health & Safety requirements within the sales and warehouse environmentAbout YouThe successful candidate will have excellent communication and IT skills, be numerate, and present themselves in a smart and professional manner. We are looking for someone with energy, motivation, and enthusiasm, who is a team player with a flexible approach and the ability to prioritise effectively.Experience working in a sales environment is preferred, but candidates from other backgrounds with the right attitude and transferable skills will also be considered.
