It starts with you.As a Theatre Practitioner / ODP in Anaesthetic at our hospital, you'll be alert, focused, detail-oriented and empathetic. You're registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC. With post-registration experience, you're a team player across departments with a passion for exceptional patient care.As a Senior Theatre Practitioner in Anaesthetic, you will:Work with leading consultants and like-minded professionalsEnjoy a varied caseload with state-of-the-art technology, equipment and facilitiesSupervise, support and develop junior members of staffCreate high-quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence basedEnsure the safe administration of anaesthetics and monitor vital signs throughout surgical proceduresParticipate in maintaining a sterile operating environment and adhering to all safety protocolsCollaborate closely with anaesthetists and surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and interact closely with colleagues on the wardHave ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal developmentBe part of the senior theatre team, coordinating the department and being part of the on call rota.Helping you feel good.We want you to love coming to work, feeling healthy, happy and valued.
