Walker Precision Engineering is a leading provider of advanced, high precision manufacturing services, supporting industries where quality and reliability are critical. We're now looking to strengthen our Inspection team with a QA Inspector at our Glasgow facility.The QA Inspector will perform inspections and quality checks on materials, components and finished products to ensure they meet required standards and specifications, supporting the delivery of high-quality products and compliance with relevant regulations.QA Inspector Responsibilities:Conduct in-process and final inspections of mechanical or manufactured componentsUse precision measuring instruments such as callipers, micrometres, gauges, and CMMsInterpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standardsDocument inspection results accurately and maintain detailed QA recordsReport non-conformities and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actionsSupport internal audits and participate in continuous improvement activitiesEnsure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety guidelines and company proceduresAny other duties as requiredQA Inspector Skills & Behaviours:Good written and verbal communication skillsAttention to detail and commitment to qualityQA Inspector Experience:Previous experience as a QA/QC Inspector in a manufacturing or engineering environmentTime served is desirableStrong understanding of quality inspection techniques and toolsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsWhat's in it for you?Full time, permanent contract, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
