Job Description

Everun currently provides a range of services to the wind energy sector including turbine monitoring, maintenance and servicing, asset and financial management services and bespoke software monitoring tools developed in-house via a sister company. Due to continued growth, we are expanding our existing wind turbine engineer team.Main duties and responsibility:· Field based role, carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance of Wind Turbines to the highest standards, including regular servicing schedules to OEM standards.· Identifying, diagnostics, troubleshooting and resolution of faults· Achieve a high first-time-fix rate· Participate in main component replacement/repair (gearboxes, generators, etc.)· Advise on the requirements and specification for replacement parts· Form an integral part of the on-call teamWork with the on-site teams, including client representatives, to address service & maintenance issues and drive overall turbine performance.· Communicate with control centre personnel regularly and effectively· Ensure all relevant documentation is completed in a timely manner· Assist with production and verification of Risk Assessments and Method Statements· Ensure PPE, tools and Vehicles are maintained to highest standardsPlease note that these are field roles and travel within NI will be required, as well as occasional travel to Scotland. Although some overnights may be required this role does not include accommodation, as you will return home most nights.The Person:· Self -motivated, confident and driven to succeed· Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and work under pressure· Keen eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skills· The ability to represent the Company to the highest standardsEssential Criteria:· A minimum of one year's experience in a Wind Turbine Maintenance roleStrong technical aptitude (focus on electric-mechanical) with solid problem-solving skills· Ability to perform effectively within a team, strong interpersonal skills· The ability to meet and adhere to strict deadlines· High level of physical fitness· Flexible working approach (comfortable working on-call including some weekends)· Ability to read and work from plans, schematics, and spec sheets· Ability to understand and adhere to WTSR, RAMS and AWP's· Good general understanding of Health & Safety at work requirements· Full UK Driving licenseDesirable Criteria:· Level 3 qualification in relevant engineering / electrical / mechanical subject2yrs experience working on Wind TurbinesExperience working on Vestas wind turbines· WTSR qualification· GWO suite - WAH/First Aid/Hub Rescue/Manual Handling/Fire awareness· Good level of IT skill including Microsoft Office/Google SuiteBenefits:Salary of £32-42,500 depending on experienceOn call and overtime rates29 days leave, increasing to 34 with service (inclusive of public holidays)Enhanced employer pension contributionEnhanced maternity / paternity leave & payLife assurance 4 x salaryPrivate Medical Insurance, including dental & opticalOngoing professional development.
