Job Description

The Head of SSE (Show Systems Engineering) Delivery & Deployment leads the end-to-end execution of complex, technology-led SSE systems across theme parks, visitor attractions, cruise ships, heritage environments and more.The role is responsible for coordinating delivery across business functions, managing SSE resources, and ensuring systems are fully prepared, deployed, commissioned, and handed over for live operation. Acting as the delivery authority within SSE, the role ensures projects transition seamlessly from pre-deployment production through on-site installation and commissioning, meeting the safety, quality, and operational expectations of guest-facing environments.About us:CONDUCTR is a dynamic collective of designers, technologists, media experts, producers & engineers. The vision is simple - fuse the creativity of a design studio, with the innovation of a tech lab, to create a one-stop shop for extraordinary guest-centric, 360 attraction experiences.Key Responsibilities:Cross-Functional Project Coordination & Health & SafetyLead project coordination across engineering, procurement, facilities, production, PMO and field teams.Ensure Health & Safety requirements are embedded into project planning, workflows, and delivery decisions from initiation through deployment alongside the Global Compliance and Safety Officer.Translate project scope, technical design, and safety requirements into executable delivery plans.Manage dependencies, interfaces, and handovers across business functions, ensuring safe systems of work.SSE Resource & Workflow ManagementWorking alongside the TD you will plan, allocate, and manage SSE resources in line with defined workflows and deliverables.Balance resource capacity across multiple concurrent projects and deployment phases.Forecast staffing, equipment, and tooling requirements across production and site activities.Identify delivery risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.Pre-Deployment Production & ReadinessLead pre-deployment production management in collaboration with engineering, procurement, production and facilities.Coordinate prototyping, proof-of-concept builds, client demonstrations, and pre-deployment integration builds.Oversee Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), system commissioning, and readiness reviews.Ensure systems are fully documented, approved, and prepared for shipment to site.Deployment, Commissioning & Health & SafetyOwn the planning and execution of SSE deployment and commissioning activities.Manage deployment resources, sequencing, and logistics across live sites and venues.Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards, site rules, and regulatory requirementsCoordinate commissioning activities with engineering teams, clients, and third-party partnersEnsure a safe and efficient transition from installation to operational readiness.Ensure systems are fully documented once installed and commissionedOn-Site Team LeadershipLead on-site SSE deployment teams during installation, commissioning, and handover.Act as the senior on-site point of escalation for technical, safety, and coordination issues.Ensure safe working practices and adherence to site-specific requirements.Support client acceptance, documentation handover, and readiness for live operation.Leadership & AccountabilityBuild, lead, and develop a high-performing SSE delivery teamEstablish delivery standards, processes, and best practices within SSEOwn delivery KPIs including schedule adherence, quality, safety, and commissioning successDrive continuous improvement across SSE delivery and deployment operationsYou should have:Senior experience delivering complex, multidisciplinary technical systemsStrong background in guest-facing, operational, or safety-critical environmentsProven experience managing pre-deployment builds, FAT testing, and commissioningDemonstrated leadership of on-site teams and deployment resourcesStrong coordination, planning, and decision-making capabilitiesIt would be great if you have:Experience in theme parks, visitor attractions, cruise ships, or heritage environmentsFamiliarity with integrated systems, controls, AV, or interactive technologiesClient-facing delivery experience through commissioning and handoverPersonal Attributes:Delivery-focused with a strong sense of ownership and accountabilityCalm, decisive, and effective in live environmentsComfortable bridging creative ambition and operational executionCommitted to safety, quality, and long-term system performanceWhat We Offer:A competitive salary and benefits package.A vibrant, inclusive, and dynamic work environment.Opportunities for personal and professional growth.A chance to be part of a forward-thinking team making a real difference.What it's like working at CONDUCTR:CONDUCTR is proud to be recognised as a Great Place to Work, officially certified for our outstanding workplace culture and employee satisfaction.
